Sports Journalists.

The role of sports journalists is to report on sports topics and events. I do believe that journalists have a huge impact on which athletes we see as good or bad. Sports Journalism seems very biased and they present their writing and reporting in that manner. In a way I feel that sports journaling has helped shed light on some of the issues we've discussed in class. Some journalists are more aware of race and gender issues in sports and make that a point in the stories they tell. Also, sports journalists at times transcend from the game and bring light to social politcial aspects in sports as the author of the Cowboys Cheerleader article did.
