Steven Staggs

I think though that when you mix politics and professional sports, bad things can happen. Like with Rush Limbaugh trying to buy the Rams. I've heard a lot of rumors that he was taken out of consideration because the current owner was very much against his political views. I don't know if thats entirely true, but you can see where something like that could happen.

    I heard the same. Then again as i said in one of my other posts. These owners are there to win. But limbaugh was already taken out of the mix because the other owner said it caused to much controversey and could be a disturbance to the team.

    When I first heard that Limbaugh even had an interest in buying the Rams I had to take a moment and step back. After some of the comments he has made about the NFL over the years, specifically pertaining to race I thought this guy would never be consider for an ownership position. I am glad his name has been taken out from consideration because the NFL does not need any more distractions.
