This entire saga seems unrealistic. It is honestly difficult to believe, and very sad for Semenya. What began as her winning the 800 and accomplishing her goals, ended with her questioned her entire life. I can't imagine what it would be like to be in her shoes. With that in mind, I agree with Steve, I don't think she cheated. I do not believe that she knew she had the condition. That being said, I don't know if she should still be able to compete against women, but instead should be able to compete against men. I hate to put Semenya through more anguish but I think more needs to be learned about her condition. If it is determined that it gives her an advantage over all other women then she should probably compete against men. Overall, I think this is a very delicate situation and no matter what happens someone isn't going to be happy.

  1. I agree with the solution that if she is unable to compete against women because they find that this gives her an advantage she should be able to qualify against men.
