The more i think of this the more questions it brings up. I am curios what is going to happen if she does test as having the male genes or however the test is done. Does that mean she gets stripped of her medal and her accomplishments and everything she has worked for? And even more importantly how does she keep competing? Does that mean that she is going to have to start racing and competing against men even though she identifies and lives her life as a woman? This is another reason this kind of situation should not happen. I understand that they don't want men to cheat and race against women. But she was born inter sexed and a decision had to be made don't make her pay for that the rest of her life. Because even if she does keep competing it would be very hard to be competitive against men after all she has gone through.

  1. You raise some interesting questions Phillip. We will discuss these possibilities in class, however, no one will know the official results until November. Apparently this is when they are going to make their decisions (International Track committee)
