Video
I think the video with sara Palin was funny. Nobody there new anything really about her or what she was trying to do for the country. Everybody was just saying answers that didnt even make sense. Half of them said that they didnt even know. This shows that nobody knows anything anymore about politics. You have the few people that know about it but for the most part you have people that where in the video that didnt know anything. All they new was that a famous person was goign to be there so they went. Now if someone was go to a basketball game and ask fans about this team and that team playing, im sure the fans could give them answers. People care more about sports then politics because politics are boring to most people. People want things exciting. I feel if they somehow could join with the sports a little it would help a lot and would be able to get things out more.

That video was made by a group that was clearly anti-Palin. I don't think we can characterize the mass public and say they don't know anything about politics based off of a stupid video such as that. There are the same kind of propaganda videos released by conservative groups as well. I'd bet anything that during the course of that day, the man in the video talked to more than a handful of people who were more intelligent and actually knew something about politics when compared to the people that actually were put in the video. It wasn't a coincidence that they kept showing the guy w/ the speech impediment. They did that to try to make Palin and her supporters look like they don't have a clue. I do agree though that people take more interest in sports b/c they are more entertaining. Very few people enjoy watching 50+ year old men and in some cases women in suits talk about things the average person doesn't understand.
